Today I go to Milan for the European Championships. These are early in the season compared to normal as it is also the second Olympic qualification regatta where we hope to qualify some more British athletes for Beijing. See the championships website for timetable and results. Also look out for Eurosport coverage of the finals which is scheduled to be shown this Saturday 17th May from 8-11:15am and Sunday 19-20:00 (UK times). Take a look at some of the media coverage I have had recently too by clicking on the link in the left hand menu. 13th May 2008 With snow at the April regatta in Nottingham, I didn't need much persuasion to come out to Seville again for the third camp here this year! Training is going well here and I certainly hope the weather back in the UK will have picked up by the time I get home. 18th April 2008 I have just spent the last two days on a fantastic trip to Portugal to see the Nelo factory. It was great to meet not only the familiar faces of André and Nelo, but also the talented and experienced craftsmen involved in designing and making the superb quality boats. They looked after me really well and I got to do some good training on the river in Villa de Condo. Thank you very much to everyone who made it such an interesting and worthwhile trip. Last weekend was the first domestic regatta in Nottingham. Despite snow and the temperatures being close to zero the whole weekend, the water conditions were not too bad. I was pleased to win both K1 events which virtually confirms my nomination as the GB athlete for the Olympic place I qualified at last years World Champs. Today I travel with the rest of the mens squad back to the warmth of Seville for another two weeks. 10th April 2008
